Quark to word doc

New to quark and in dire need.
Someone has come to me with a quark file that they need converted to a word doc... is this possible?

This is possible. You only have to use the option "File -> Save Text" and this gives you a word document or a notepad file depending on what you select while using the "save as text"option.
In QuarkXPress 5.0, you can get the output in .....
Word 97/98/2000 .doc
Notepad .txt
Xpress tags .xtg
WordPerfect .wpd

The only problem is pictures won't come so you can mannually paste them whereever u require it.
