Quark Express Printing

I am using Quark Express for the first time and whenever I print to a PDF file it puts weird lines at the corners and date and time of creation of the file. Can anyone tell me how do I remove those lines and irrelevant text from the printed document?

any help would be truly appreciated.

Could those weird lines be registration marks? Consult the manual for 'Registration marks'.

there is a box that you need to uncheck in the print window Registration.
