We are in the process of updating all our Quark 4.11 files to Quark 6.1. In the process, we notice some images are missing. They tend to all be images that exist on a page more than once. The image is displayed fine for the first instance of the image but then does not show up for all other instances of the image in the file. Usage does not list the duplicate images either, so cannot see if it is a file naming problem.

Can anyone help out?

Sort of known issue with XPress.

If saving on the network then avoid doing the same. Try saving the doc. on local machine. That MIGHT help.

OTHERWISE NO WORKAROOUND!!!

I've heard the way to go is to bring the needed doc fully on to the machine you are using then save when finished and put the doc back on the server.

At least until 6.2...I guess...hopefully.

Have just gone through the same pain...

As other replies really....

Copy file to desktop...carry out amends, save it and overwrite the old file on the server....(seems to windows server only).
