Every once in a while when working in a Quark project, my computer will lock up for a minute or so, then display a window asking me if I want to agree to use the "Microsoft Internet Symbol Store."

I have no idea what's causing this and I cannot replicate the occurrance. I have a feeling it results from something happening with text bullets, but I can't be too sure because it's virtually impossible to make the error occur.

Anyone else have this problem? Using a Windows platform.

I should add after I cancel out of the window that appears, it's virtually impossible to select anything in my project accurately. When I click on anything in the project, it automatically throws a rectangular selection onto the screen...the selection isn't anywhere close to what I've tried clicking on.

...the Microsoft Internet Symbol Store you mention is detailed on the micosoft website a debugging tool by the looks of things, find the info here:

...something developers use it appears. Hope this helps you route out the source application that is kicking in the need to connect to microsoft and turn it off or uninstall it...

...you may also wish to upgrade free to Quark 6.5 too, found here:
