Quark 6.0 will not open files

I just bought a new G4 OS 10.3.4 and Quark 6.0. We have a file server with archives of all past Quark projects. When I try and open any of these files (most are Quark 5.1) I get this error "unknown error (-9589)" This happens over the network or if I copy the file to the G4. Also when I copy the file to the G4 it has a blank icon. Like the computer doen't know what kind of file it is.

Has anybody had this problem. This is my first experience with OS X and I am already frustrated.

We have been running a Windows server...did have some strange problems when opening 5 files in 6...Missing text....missing images...place holders stayed in place, but content was missing.

Thank god for Xserve now installed.

Seems if you copy file to desktop and file open from Quark...most problems will be sorted.

This apparently is a known issue at Quark. I was able to find a solution on their website. For some reason I had to create a generic postscript printer and assign an IP address to it supplied by Quark. That made no sense to me but now it works.... ??????? strange.
