Quark 6.0 PDF Bleeds

PDF created from Quark 6.0 has a white margin but should bleed to the edge. Have tried direct to PDF as well as Distilling a post script file. Any suggestions?

Go to preferences/pdf.
select default options.
Select the output tab.
selct registration centered if you want trim marks.
select bleed type symetric
