Ok, this is what i'm trying to do:

we have a client that wants their entire product catalog on the web. Why html instead of just posting pdfs? i'm not exactly sure, except that it might be a little easier to change just the text within the code rather than editing the quark fil then making a pdf and posting the pdf. plus our people want us to learn the benefits of quark5 and have more than 1 person working on web things. anyway, so i have the whole catalog in the original quark file, so i've tried creating a new html document in quark 5 and then dragging each page into the document. Everything seems to work fine, but then after i export everythign tends to shift a bit and nothing really stays where i put it.... charts and lists don't really line up anymore... any hints or tips on that from anyone? I appreciate any help ican get.. thanks! :)3

whoops, forgot to mention.. the catalog changes, so the text has to be editable, can't be pictures of it.. when i first drag over allthe text, it's all got the little camera on each and every text box, so i have to go thru and double click on each box, and make and untick the covert to graphic on export box anyone know a wayy to make it that way to begin with when you're draggin from another document? i know that you can set it to make them all one way or the other when you begin, but that just seems to work on ones that you create new in that document, not the ones that have been dragged over from antoher document.

Quark is a print publication program. Ignore the claims of HTML output from PageMaker, Quark XPress and InDesign. It will only lead to heartache and grief.

The ideal situation for cross media publishing is XML. Design your catalog with a defined data structure then use templates (ASP, PHP, JSP, etc.) to convert the XML data to HTML.
