Help me please...someone....anyone!!!
I am using a g4 mac with 1 gig of memory. I am rinning OS 9.2.2. I am printing out of Quark 5.0 to a Heidelberg Rip (Delta) to go to Iris proofing and direct to plate. When printing documents images and or graphics from one page show up on the next page??? Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi there..... [pc2]

You can intially try moving the "Preferences" folder from your "QuarkXPress" folder to the desktop and then try to launch QuarkXPress by double clicking the Application icon in the the "QuarkXPress" folder..

Is this happening with all documents or a specific document of QuarkXPress?
Are you facing this problem for the first time or has it happened before also?

Is ur RAM above 1Gb for your system. If yes, there is a knwon issue with Quark 5.0. in that case you can download the updated for 5.01 free from
Hope this helps [infinity]

This is happening more often than not. This has been happening to me for about a week now. I have downloaded 5.01 from the site (thanks)....however the same thing keeps happening? My RAM is not above 1GB for the system it is at 1GB.

Thank you VERY MUCH for your timely attention to this matter!!!

Hi if you have access to any other MAC (with lesser RAM) then I would suggest you to try printing the document from there. Or try making a fresh document and try printing it and compare the results.

Moreover tell me what sort of Images U r (Tiff, eps) using along with their size.

First, Thank You for your reply. I have 4 Color TIFF files in my document ranging from 2.3 mb to 3.4 mb. (Nothing real big). I am going to test running this document from another MAC with less RAM. I have already tried sending the same documents from a similar machine with the 768 RAM and got similar results? I guess I will try my old Power Mac 9600/300.

Thanks again for your time.
