we have been using microplus kds units , these are pretty straigt forward as they conect via serial port, we ve been told the e-pic units are better. can anyone give me any info on these as there is very little technical info on the qsr website

not familiar with the mircoplus, but the epics are straight forward. It is a small black box for serial uplink to vga. We set them up for Aloha systems and they are plug and play. I don't know any technical info on them.

We're looking at that product, too, and other than a couple of .pdf files we found little. However, an industry ally told us to get the phone number from the site and call a guy named Dan at x2213 for specs and other tech info (such as interfaces they currently have, etc.)... looks like they have locations in both Louisville and Atlanta, and since we haven't pursued this (yet) we're not sure at which location he is. Hope this helps you get what you need.
