QSIG Parameters 1

Hi,

I'm trying to configure a QSIG trunk between a long distance point to point E1 line we have leased. We are currently getting framing/timing errors on the link. What would be the typical paramters in ROCAI and RODAI for this type of connection. Assuming one is the master and the other receives the timing? Thanks guys

Hi all,
I have a problem regarding automatic connection on Winfiol.
In substance, how can I set and program Winfiol and any other file, to connecto to a MD110 PABX using the inside Scheduler to launch commands under timer?

Do you have SCEXI command enabled in the system? If not take clock from one of the connection...

Under TL parameters in Application system... Do select the correct TL option... TL60/30/37 as the case may be...

1. Framing and timing errors are indicative of a synchronizing problem between the two PABX.
Do you have SCEXI set at the appropriate PABX for receiving the Frame synch? This should only be set at one end of the link, the other end being the Clocking Master.
Are both PABX using CRC-4 procedures within the E1 frame. Is the E1 bearer you are using derived from an ATM link or using internally derived Clocking (e.g. public network supplied) instead of PABX supplied clocking; if so, then both PABX must be set to derive Clocking from the E1 bearer with the SCEXI command.

2. Note that the Clocking Master for the E1 frame synch is different to and separate from the Master and Slave relationship set up in the QSIG link at each PABX. The QSIG Master/Slave relationship is a function of the D-channel protocol only and is concerned with which end has control of the QSIG signalling link during intialization.
