We've got some Mitel engineers here attempting to do some proof of concept testing but it's not going well. They have a QSIG trunk on a 3300 with an embedded module going to a Nortel Option 81c, and that link is working. However, at another site they have a 3300 LX with an NSU that they're trying to connect via QSIG to a Nortel Option 11c, and they haven't been able to get it to work despite working on it for several hours.

Do any of you know of any tricks to getting a QSIG trunk working on an NSU?

Nevermind. They were finally able to get it working this morning. I'm not aware of the details but it did have something to do with the difference in configuration between a 3300 with an NSU vs. a 3300 with an embedded T1 module.

I have no idea. It took a senior Mitel engineer hours to get it working but he never shared what the problem was. We now have another problem as a result of our testing. It appears that QSIG Path Replacement is broken in the version of code on these boxes, which I think is 6.0. The same senior engineer is flying back out tomorrow along with two Mitel software developers to try to figure out what the problem is.

We're in the middle of an RFP and tomorrow is the due date for proof-of-concept testing. So, they have until the end of the day to figure out what is wrong, fix it, and then finish the testing that we placed on-hold last week.
