What is this card used for? I also have an adapter plugged in to the front of the card and it says CDR on it? Can I get cdr records printed out somehow? Thanks.

It's a TTY card and yes you can get CDR records as long as it's programmed.

Thanks, can you tell me how to set this up, or even point me in the right direction. I know quite some time ago I set up reports to print in load 2 I think it was and I captured the file but it was all ones and zeros, I couldn't translate that. Thanks again.

Sounds like it might be programmed hook a cable to it and then to a terminal and see if you get any calls.

There is a pair of cross connect wire that is wired into the adapter, I haven't traced it out so I'm not sure where that goes. But what do you mean by hooking a cable to it and getting calls? CDR records? Can't I get them through my TTY port? I'm ultimatly trying to avoid purchasing a CDR software package if possible. Like OTM or some other software package.

Trace it and see where it goes maybe it is hooked to a terminal. The cable is just a serial cable and as far as the calls go you'll get the call data from the port.

Hi,

In LD 2 you get traffic not CDR. Traffic are just numbers (I.e. CPU load, answer time of the Att, etc, etc) which can be translated to usefull information by MAT/OTM with the traffic module.

To setup CDR you must first check if CDR is enabled in LD 15 in the CDR datablock.

It's probably enables allready so first print it in LD 21. After you have printed the data, you see the PORT prompt. The number entered there is/are the port(s) where the CDR data is send.

When you want to add an existing port, add CTY to the port, and add the port number in LD 15

Also check if CDR is enabled on the routes from which you want CDR, and if it's enabled also check to see if the right options are enabled so you get the information you want (Incoming, Time to Answer, etc, etc).

Thanks One234, I found that it is turned on and it's on port 6. But what is the cross connect coming from the front of this adapter for? Could that be going to a terminal? It's only one pair. I hate to start pulling up the floor tiles, but if I have to I have to.

I think the best thing to do is to start pulling floor tiles and see where the cable is going... Most likely you must pull them anyway to get the cable connected to you PC on which you want to buffer the records...
