In all the documentation that i have found i saw that the "priority" keyword in a context like this one:

Router(config-pmap-c)# priority xxx Kbps

would specifie the guaranteed allowed bandwith for priority traffic.

My question is: What kind of priority traffic is this? Can i specifie wich traffic fill this condition ?

Tanx in advance ..

By the way, what is the major difference between CBWFQ and Custom-Queuing ? In the modular QoS CLI when i define a bandwith, the scheduler will be working like what ? WFQ ?

To specify the traffic that this policy is applied to you need to create also a class-map. This can use an access-list or an input interface as a classification criteria (among many others)

Without any other options the applying this policy as
&quot;service-policy output <name>&quot; it will be weight fair. (use &quot;show interface&quot; to see this
