Is there a way I can configure a Prologix system (ver 11.2) to run with voice mail (over ISDN BRI) without Q-SIG license installed. After configuration, the remote PBX (with voice mail) sees the trunks as down i.e. out-of-service, but the D-channel is up. However, if I convert the service to raw-bits, everything seems to work just fine, but without the VAS i.e. caller-id, call-waiting etc.?

Have you tried DCS between sites?

Your Intuity may need DCS turned on for this.

Thanks,

98Converter,

No way man, We dont have DCS turned on. But we actually use ISDN over packet.

Thanks.

Most of the time I see this issue it is because the CO protocol does not match what you set on the DS1 page.

Do a "test board (DS1 board location) long", cancel the test after test 146 because you are not interested the remaining tests. Do any fail?

Of course I need to ask the silly question also. You do have ISDN PRI enabled in the customer options of both switches?
