Q.931 version differences 1

Hi

Is there a difference in Q.931 versions. Weve been told that a site has Q.931 V0.8 or (some version number similar), was installed 7 years ago or so. Is there a Q.931 V1, is There any difference?

PS Its on an Avaya system, hence the post to this forum

That is, the UK telecoms ISDN line is Q.931 v?

we have a tap in call recording device setup trunk side on the ISDN, can you imagine that changing between these versions would affect it (would be moving forward not back)

Let me put that another way - are Q931 versions backwards compatible with equipment setup for the older versions
