pws on win me

On windows 98, I had the windows personal web server running. I tried to load this from the win 98 cd (cause it aparently isn't included in win me) and most of the components didn't work. is that just another of the many faults of win me?

Yeah, this is one of the many probs with WinME, applications like MSSQL 7 Desktop Edition don't work correctly.

I would down grade to WIN98SE and wait for the Service Packs to come out for WINME before upgrading. Plus it doesn't offer anything more over what is already included in WIN98SE anyway so why upgrade!

the only reason that I upgraded to win me is that I purchased a new computer (I went from a p75 to a pIII 933), and it came with it loaded. Although I am thinking about converting to win2000
