PWS get 500 server error

I've installed Peer Web Services for use on my NT workstation as a server for my local (hard drive) development work. In Control Panel/Services,I see my_computer_name and it says

http://www is

running. However, when I'm using my browser and enter

http://my_computer_name/

I get message: HTTP:/1.0 500 Server error - the parameter is incorrect. I have also tried using

http://127.0.01

addresses and get the same thing. Thanks in advance for any help given!!

Never mind, I found the problem and was able to fix it.

I encountered the same problem. After I updated ie, i no longer be able to load my

http://127.0.0.1/

or

http://localhost/.

Netscape Communicator works fine. Could you please share your experience on how to fix this problem?

Hi,

does anyone have an idea of the cause of the error message
"The Parameter is Incorrect" ?

We have pages with various permissions - specifically the one resulting in this error on Netscape 4.7 (PC)
