Hi guys, this is my first post, so bear with me!
I've read a lot of useful articles on Tek-Tips and I notice that sometimes people use the Accpac.Advantage DLL, whereas others are using the AccPacCOMAPI.

I've got some code in vb.net using the Accpac.Advantage DLL and am working from sample code using PutWithoutVerification.

Firstly, does PutWithoutVerification exist in this DLL or is it by any chance the equivalent of .SetValue("xx", False)?

Secondly, should I be using this DLL, or is the COMAPI either newer, better, or both?

Thanks in advance

Pete

They are the same essentially, Accpac.Advantage DLL wraps the COMAPI. What you use is up to you, I use the COMAPI and think the Accpac.Advantage DLL is a load of crud.

Thanks for the quick response Ettienne, out of interest, what's your single biggest issue with the DLL?

I don't use it, so I don't have an issue with it. 100% of my work is in VB6, VBA or VBS and I have no need for .Net silliness.
