When preparing my installer for building an exe for the users pc I need to add a number of crystal dll's. Crystal shows them on my workstation in 2 locations. \Windows\Crystal and \program files\seagate software\shared.

Do I need to make those folders on the target machine or just place all the dll's in the system or system32 folder.

Thanks for any help

If the system is Windows 95/98/Me place it in system. If the system is NT/2000/XP place it in the system32. Most installers will have a variable called "SYSTEM" that will figure out where the system folder is when the setup is running.
