Putting conference on hold

If I am in a 3 party conference, how can I put the 2 callers on hold, and have them hear MOH instead of hearing each other? When I am on a conference and press the hold key, the 2 callers are still connected to each other and can hear hear each other. How can I have them hear MOH instead of each other?

You can have MOH be they cane still talk over the MOH.

Is there anyway they can't talk over each other. I want to put them both on hold so they can't hear each other. Is that possible?

Not in Meridian 1. To do such things you need external conference equipment (a conference bridge).
