Does anybody know if it is possible to email a message to a public folder?

I have a program that emails a message to a group of people who all keep a copy, so i wanted to know if could email the messages to a public folder where everybody can read them.

Would i have to set up rule on one persons email to move the email to the public folder?

Thanks for any info.

Cheers
Pete

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

No, you assign an SMTP address to the Public Folder, and use that address.
Beware with user rights, because if rights are too high, anyone can erase it!

You have to Mail Enable the public folder first. From exchange system manager, right click on the public folder and select mail enable. Then from the properties window, you can set the smtp e-mail address.

Obviously!
