Has any got push technology working w/ a Treo 700w smart phone?

It is not out yet. Will require SP2 and an add on.

by setting the sms address new email is posted to the device. I'm not sure if this is "push" technology but it functions like it.

Be VERY careful. If you pay extra for SMS messages then this will greatly increase your wireless bill. (found that out the hard way). This is NOT the same as the coming push technology, but dies as you say have the relative same effect. This tells the phone to connect and sync which is different than it automatically getting the messages.
