How do I configure Arcserve to purge the Activity log of everything older then 30 days, but leave the detailed tape data in for over 60 days? Can this even be done?

Hi,
Which version of Arcserve are you using?

ArcserveFreek "Patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success."

Sorry,
Arcserve 2k SP4 on Windows 2k sp3.
( I have a couple of fixes installed)

In ARCserve Manager, go to View|Preferences and set the prune activity log to 1 Month. In ARCserve Server Admin, view the Database Engine settings, and change it from the default of 30 days to 60 days.

BTW, It only purges the detail information, right?
Media and Session information will remain in the "Media" portion of the database window.

Yes that is correct. Those records have little impact on the database. If you want to remove them, sort by the Destroyed Date column, select the records you want to erase, then right-click and choose delete.
