Has anyone heard of a silly story about a flight sim embedded in an old version of Excel.

Hi There

I think that you are referring to is the "Excel 97" Easter Egg. You can access it as follows

1. On a new Worksheet, Press F5
2. Type X97:L97 and hit enter
3. Press the tab key
4. Hold Ctrl-Shift
5. Click on the Chart Wizard toolbar button
6. Use mouse to fly around - Right button forward/ Left button reverse

Hope this helps Bernadette

There was also a Doom like level in Excel and pinball in Word i think.

Thanks

So it wasn't the drink speaking then!

If I remember correctly, the easter egg isn't in Office 97 after installing one of the service packs.

Does anyone know of any easter eggs in Office 2K?

check out eeggs.com which is the official easter eggs site. It lists every easter egg known in every app...

but don't forget you also have work to do...

:)

Easter egg's - what's going on ???

I cant help but feel I am missing out on a great deal of folklore - any more surprises!
