I need to buy a plate HG 1500, did a quote and was told that I have to buy permits for channel B (HG 1500) and permits extension to IP, is that correct? Not only would the purchase of HG 1500 card and nothing else?

Hi, you need license for B-channel and comscendo licenses for workpoints.
In V8, you have 8 b-channel as basic license, but dont have basic license for clients, you will buy licenses.
If your system is V7 or lower, you have only 2 b-channel.

Yes, in V6 ONLY 2 B-channels are available.
V8 2 basic B-channel, for aditional 6 free B-channel, you have to ask your seller for them.
You can upgrade your V6 system to V8 FREE (V5 or higher can be upgrade to V8), only upgrading your MMC. You will upgrade your HG1500 V6 to V8 too, with image file, is very easy!
