I am trying to pull data from an ODBC database and an SQL database, when I pull the fields in and then try to run the report, Crystal Report throws an error message and then closes. Did anyone encounter this problem? I guess the other question would be can you pull information from these databases using CR ver10?

Thanks

Hi,
Some details needed:

What databases ( ODBC and Sql are not databases)

ODBC connection to What?
Sql - Do you mean SqlServer?

What error message?

Sorry for the confusion, I have two databases that I am trying to pull data from, one uses ODBC and the other is SQL. After I pull my tables and views in, i recieve the following error message "the program has encountered an error and will close".

Hope that explains it better!

You could use a subreport, one occurence per detail record on one database, passing the value for the subreport to read the other. This is costly in processing time, but will work OK.

There may be a better way. How are you linking the tables?
