Pulling config over console

Hi

I have a watchguard that I cannot get conneected to on the GUI. It has developed a strange problem where the web interface that worked previously does not work any longer either. It is still passing traffic but needs some new services adding. If I connect a console cable will it be possible to pull off the config, reset the unit to factory default and reload the config via the console connection?

Whats the error message?

Which firebox do you have?

It's an x20 Edge and the web page is unavailable, plus we can not access the unit with system manager and need to make changes. Any ideas?
