pulling a voicemail from Meridian Mail

I need to transfer a hostile message left in Meridian Mail to a format that can be archived. Is there a better method than simply holding a tape recorder over a handsfree set?

not much, unless you have transfer to an outside source added as a feature, the file type is not one you could convert.. you can recover msgs from a backup tape but it's not an easy task.. you can change the cos to personal and set the delete msgs to 0 days and the mail will keep it forever.. you can forward msgs to other internal mailboxes to share..

with callpilot and desktop msg'ing you could email it as an attachment or save it to a cd for that matter..

A scutch box works well. That will get the message to your PC or tape recorder ect.

A cheap telephone handset recorder works.
