I know Avaya has a free program that will pull 'raw' data so you can do your own reporting. Can anyone tell me the name of this program and/or where to get it.

Or, if anyone know of another free piece of software that i can pull data from the pbx, that would work too!

When you say "reporting", what exactly are you looking for?

Usage statistics? Call details? Trunk group capacity? PBX programming and setup?

There's a number if different applications for the above things.

Carpe dialem! (Seize the line!)

Mostly incoming and outgoing calls to/or from what extension, call duration, call time, ext to ext calls.

I know it’s going to be in the rawest form coming of out of the pbx, but I have to start somewhere.

search for cdr on linux host. I think there is something in the FAQ section as well.

AvayaTier3..

Thanks for the info. I downloaded and installed the software, but im not getting anything out "yet".

Can you tell me how to set this thing up? I tried to download the pdf : but the document is no longer available.

i connect to my switch with ASA on ip 128.1.35.220. is this the ip address is use to "listen"?

If not, am i supposed to program something in the switch so i can start grabbing data?

You have to have an active CDR-link defined on your system
