Hi there,

im new to web design and decided that i would use publisher as its a a easy program to get into.
its hosted at hostpapa.ca
and they use cPanel to upload my files.

i have created the site and hosted it and most of it works

the part that doesnt work is the Form part.

When i go to access the form on my site and submit it i get this:

"Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions on this page: "
I have not been able to find suitable info on how to fix this.

If anyone has any tips it would be appreciated.

Unfortunately my advice would be to use a real web design program rather than trying to use Publisher. Don't get me wrong, I love the app but I am a firm believer in using the right tool for the job.

I have many web design programs including dream weaver and others. But they are much more complicated and as stated above i am a new user.

As i needed to get my site up and running i created the site in publisher since it is a easy to use basis while i am learning how to create a site in other programs.

If anyone is able to help with the troubleshooting that would be great.

Unfortunately once you put the work into the Publisher site it will not translate cleanly into another app. I'd really hate to see you go thru all of that work twice, especially since you have the right app.

I believe the answer to this question is that you have to go to the place that hosts your website and make sure frontpage extensions are allowed or turned on.
