Hi everyone,
does anyone know a good public OpenVPN endpoint? I want to use something that lets me use skype and messenger while I'm at work. I'm behind a firewall that blocks everything except web (accessed through a Squid Proxy), and even web the content filter Webwasher blocks like everything. I was wondering if I can use some kind of public VPN to use skype and messenger and browse the sites that webwasher block.

Thanks!!!

Sorry, maybe it's my fault and I didn't clearly explain myself...I'm just a simple user and I don't have any administrative access to squid or the firewall...I just wanted to know if anyone know some kind of Public VPN server I could use to avoid the firewall and use messenger, skype and browse the blocked sites...Thanks!

I'm sorry, I don't want to annoy anyone, (especially IT guys!!!)...I just want to use messenger (my company is so fascist about this things)...and by the way, looking through forums et.al., I've found a site that offers certificates for its public OpenVPN endpoint, and it works fine for me! I can use msn and skype without problems now...

Peter, if those services are blocked it is for good reason. Example..say all your personal data is on a users pc and because that user circumvented the rules and your data was stolen. how would you feel? Chances are Peter that if it is locked down that tight they can also monitor you pc and you could get fired.
