After re-installing Exchange Server i cannot delete
public folders. How do i delete public folders that i no longer want ? Can someone recommend where i can learn
about public folders in general - how best to access them
via the web, etc.? [sig][/sig]
We have Exchange5.5 installed on our Web Server,
NT Outlook Web Access was installed successfully
a while ago. We can now access from our inside
network (LAN), but not from outside (WAN).
We recently rebuilt/reinstalled Servers and since then
there are certain Public Folders that cannot be
accessed, so we'd like to delete them from the list,
but cannot, which includes Internet Newsgroups, etc. And a message comes up saying folders need to be replicated.
It is possible that your infomation store is out on sync with your directory. There are utilities available on the Microsft support site to fix this (ESUTIL I Think is one of them) but be warned - read all the documentation and do a full backup before using, depending on the corruption it can blow it all away.
