Hi Gang,
When I receive a message in my outlook inbox, I clearly see a bold folder name with the number of unread emails listed.

Is there a way to replicate this in our Exchange public folder?

How else can I be notified when I receive a message in my public folder? Unless I manually check it, I'd never know a message has been received.

ok Go to toolmenu> option> preferences > email option > advance email option >Desktop alert setting & set long alert apper

TechCarnivore, please give more info.

First you say

Replicate what? Your inbox?

Then you say
How else can I be notified when I receive a message in my public folder?

Are you still talking about your inbox? Or a public folder...

Yeah poorly worded question. Thanks for not ignoring me.

I'm trying to configure an Exchanges Public folder to show the number of unread messages associated with that folder.

Much like my office outlook inbox, where you see the folder in BOLD and then a number, which corresponds to the number of unread email messages.

Is this possible?

IC. That's a good question. I'll let you know if I find anything.
