PTX 3.0 evaluation.

I just want to know if someone use the "AIX Performance Toolbox and Performance AIDE" (PTX3.0)? And if it's a good tool to monitor servers and workstation?

I prefer MRTG, but PTX will do

I believe that we use it only because Oracle 8.1.7 requires a bit of it, bos.perf.perfstat comes to mind. The DBAs use it, I suppose... we rely on our clients to complain about performance in most cases.

PTX 3.0 is a good tool. you can also get 3d graph and it also has a ability to record the 3d graph and you can play it back later if you need to.
