We're Running Maximiser Enterprise 6.0 with Pervasive SQL. Users are experiencing intermittend data access errors: "single user version trying to open an Address Book folder that has already been opened by another user". HOW DO YOU UNLOCK THE DATABASE TO ALLOW USERS BACK IN?
Please assist! Thank you!

What version of P.SQL are you using? With version 7 there was a problem where if a file was open as read only then Pervasive treated it as being opened exclusively - I think the problem was fixed in service pack 3 or 5 in that version of the software. You can use pervasive monitor to see which files are open and which users have it opened - this may give you some clue towards who or what is locking out your file.

Thank you so much for the advice. We just got all users to log off and restart there machines. This seems to have solved it for now. However, it is the second time people have been locked out. I will investigate what you mentioned above to find out why they are getting locked out so then we wont have to disturb everone again.

Thanks
