I scanned a signature that was on a yellow sticky note and it need to make just the backgound white without doing it manually.
Is there and easy way?

You could try the color swapper. Or try the Magic wand, and then the bucket tool.

You could also if the signature is black, use the grey scale option, to turn the yellow into a white without affecting the black.

Ignorance is not necessarily Bliss, case in point:
Unknown has caused an Unknown Error on Unknown and must be shutdown to prevent damage to Unknown.

Or play around with Contrast/Brightness (Ctrl+B) until you're happy with it.

Or Flood Fill with white, remembering to fill closed loops individually.

My apologies -- that should be Shift+B.

There is something called a color replacer tool which replaced one color in the background, It got this to work one time. If you double click it, it replaces the whole background, But the yellow sticky note they signed on, is made up of various colors so the background had an like an effect in it.
But I have not been able to get this to work again at all it does nothing. When I double click it nothing happens. This program is so frustrating compared to version 7 I have at home. I wish I could get a copy of 7. I don't know why companies have to change everything all around?

OK finally, you have to first choose the background color with the eye dropper, then I set the background to white in the color pallet, then choose the color replacer, then I double right clicked the image which changed the background to white execpt for a few specks which I cleaned up by hand.
