My new install of PSP 10 tries to browse my Autocad files - which are often too big (or too 'somethng') to browse and so the machine freezes/crashes. V.7 worked fine - the problem started with an install of v. 9 and continues with v.10. I have uninstalled then reset all preferences in both Windows XP Pro file preferences and the "file open-with dialogues"...and then I re-installed the various softwares. No luck. The only PSP I can actually use is v.7 - which works just fine (as it always has!) Sure would like to get at some of those new tools in v.10. Thanks for any help on this one.

When does it browse them? Are these files in your photo folders?

It browses the thumbs when I open the browser and nav to my project folder where I keep both Autocad files (.dwg) and any .jpgs I've made of photos of the job or any renderings I've made in 3D software. What I want to look at are the photos or the renderings - not autocad drawings - I use ACAD for that!

PSP has never done this before and even if I accidentally click into a folder with any ACAD files in it (many on my machine) it stumps the browser - it gets stuck there trying to display the thumbs. It can actually show thumbs of a few of them - then crashes.
