i have a FAC set to *8 for PSA'ing.
i set a security code for my extension.

in 'list config all' i have the port set to "p".

what do i have to do now to get an extension on that phone?

psa associate code, station number, security code

i enter the psa associate code and get the confirmation beep.
i then enter the station number and just have silence.

do i need to hit # or anything after the station number or before the security code?

(i tried psa associate code, station number, security code
with no #'s or anything else and nothing happens)

my bad, you do need the # after extension and sec code

psa associate code, station number, #, security code, #

check "display cos x" for station to see if PSA is allowed.

Personal Station Access (PSA) y

This is well documented in the Avaya docs

your help is greatly appreciated!

i think i am very close but am missing one step somewhere.

i found PSA in 'disp syst cust' - it was already on.

for the phone i want to log into, does the port have to have no extension on it? (that is what i have been doing)

maybe it's something with the cos or cor.
what do i need in there?
