Hi All

I have a 2003 Domain Controller and a 2003 PS4 server. The PS4 server has been added to the domain and logons to the domain via this server works so it is authenticating.

I have created a new farm (via setup) published IE7 as an application. I have added a security group with rights to the application and set the encryption to basic.

i have also edited the default domain policy for the domain (via AD) and specified my serminal services license server which already exists.

Now on a client machine i can add the farm in (via IP) and it its found. When you go in it asks for logon credentials so i enter those and the application appears - all good so far !

Thing is when i run the application the citrix logon window appears and it appears to authenticate and then disappears - at which point usually the app appears, but for some reason IE7 does not start. In the connection centre the server is not listed also ??

Any ideas as this has got me stumped !?

Thanks

Steve

Lockstock2SB,
I know you have stated that you have your TS license server already specified but this is usually a license issue.

Check in your app or system logs and look for TSLicense events.
I would simply add your TSLicense server in the registry and do a test connection to it.

1.Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.

2.Locate, and then click, the following key in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\TermService\Parameters

3.On the Edit menu, point to New, click Key, and then type LicenseServers to name the new key.

4.Locate, and then click, the following key in the registry:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\TermService\Parameters\LicenseServers

5.On the Edit menu, point to New, click Key, and then type ServerName where ServerName is the NetBIOS name of the license server that you want to use, and then press ENTER.

The new key name can be any of the following designations that represent the license server:

• The NetBIOS name of the server

• The fully-qualified domain name (FQDN) of the server

• The IP address of the server

6.Restart your computer

That should do it.
Hope that helps.
