Hi,

I am working with a Solaris server. I have a problem when I use ps -ef on Solaris. Each process which run on server no show all path, it only show a line. What options I should put to ps for I have the same output that when ps -ef is execute on Linux?

Thanks.

Can you copy/paste an example of what you mean, and what you expect it to look like?

Does /usr/ucb/ps uwwwax give you any more useful output?

Annihilannic.

Annihilannic is very correct, /usr/ucb/ps -aux give you the full path for processes in most cases.
Although I've seen instances where it also concatenated the process path. Never really found out why but I presumed it was due to some funky terminal settings.

On Solaris, when "[tt]/usr/ucb/ps -auxwww[/tt]" truncates the command line, it may be because of who is running the command. I've seen a system patch that causes the command line to be truncated for non-root users for some security reason.
