We have many problems with our call id of our provider (VOIPPRO).

To not be continue with these problems which supplier do you advise?

What are the problems?

I have used DIDww.com for years on my IP Office without any issues.

The problem is this:

Our call id don´t appear.

Response for our provider:
"Unfortunately Portuguese operators no longer accept calls from outside of Portugal, with a Portuguese caller id. Please use a different caller id. Mobile numbers can still be used. We are sorry fort he inconvenience but we have no influence on this matter."

It´s possible to solve this problem?

Use a non Portuguese provider? I like flowroute.

I try test with twilio.

Any person can help me to configure twilio in avaya ip office?

I try but don´t work.

I can help you with DIDww.com.
Like I said, I've used them for years. Simple to set up, cheap, and reliable.

Hi Travis Harper!

I will try the provider you advised.

I already create the account.

Now i need to choose the corretion option.

I only need the VoIP termination, to make calls from through avaya ip office.

If you want to use DIDww.com to make calls, then you need an outbound SIP Trunk. So create VoiceOut trunk.

Friendly name: Whatever you want to call it.
Allowed IP address: Your public IP address

Optional
Destination Dialling Mode: Reject All
Exceptions: the area codes you allow calls to be places to. For me, I only allow calls to placed within Canada, so I have the following.
1403,1587,1780,1825,1236,1250,1604,1672,1778,1204,1431,1506,1709,1782,1902,1226,1249,1289,1343,1365,1416,1437,1519,1548,1613,1647,1705,1807,1905,367,1418,1438,1450,1514,1579,1581,1819,1306,1639,1876

Leave the rest of the settings default.

Now on the IP Office.
Create a new sip line.

1. ITSP Domain Name : out.didww.com
2. ITSP Proxy Address: 46.19.210.19
3 Layer 4 Protocol: UDP
4 Send Port 5060
5. Username and Authentication are Both the username of the sip trunk.<-from didww
6. Password: the Password of the sip trunk. <-from did
7. Create SIP URI: Yes
8. Incoming Group ID : Give it line number. 9 for example.
9. Outgoing ID: Same as incoming group ID.
10. Save/Update.
11. Go back and edit the sip line you just created.
12. Credentials: Click drop down and select the username you used in Step 5.
13. Advanced
14. Call Details
15. Edit the URI
16. Set Use Internal Data both Display and Content for Local URI, Contact P Asserted ID, P Preferred ID.
Save.

Open up SSA and click on trunks. Select the trunk number you specified in step 8, click the register tab and verify the trunk is registered.

Back on the IP Office go to Settings/Alternate Route Selection, and edit the ARS table to use the line group you created.

Make a test call.

Avaya CPaaS SIp trunks took about 30 seconds to set up. Works in a pinch..and have been using for about a year with no issues...

I have been trying to use the CPaaS trunks for years. I can't get them to work. No matter what I do, every call I make is presented with "Im sorry that number is not configured"
As it happens, I do have a session with a CPaaS engineer this afternoon to get it all working.
I will let you know how it goes.

Hi Travis Harper!

I should put my public IP in this field:

draft_ogbk8m.jpg

To have no mistakes where should I consult this IP in IP Office?

Sorry for this question.

Many Thanks

Yes. that ensures the trunk can only be access by the IP Office on your network. Leaving as 0.0.0.0/0 leaves it open for anyone to exploit.

Sorry, but where can i see my public ip?

In the IP Office where usually are?

DIDww needs be sent a legit 10 digit number. If you send just the extension number, the call will not proceed.

I do this on a per user basis.

IPO Office
Users/select user.
SIP
SIP Name = 10 digit phone number
SIP Display = (put the name you want displayed)
SIP Contact = the users internal extension.

As long as you followed Step 16 earlier, this will work.

Hi Travis,

We already created the line and it´s works, but we have the same problem don't appear our number (private or other strange number from other country).

Do you have solution for this?
