Hi,
could someone give me an example of how to create a prototype for a list. I have seen examples for array, string but is it possible to create one for a list object at all?
thanks
ro

i'm not sure i know exactly what your asking, could you give a few more details on what you want this array to have

umm,
I have not used prototype much, but I want to assign a property called "draggable" to all the list values and be able to assign some as draggable.
thanks
PS: I am still fairly new at JS

Aaah... you want to be able to drag LI elements, rather than creating some sort of linked list (which your post implied)?

If so, check out
Hope this helps,
Dan

yeah, i was trying to figure out a custom drag and drop so that I could modify it easily later on.....but I guess I will give scriptaculous a shot

Tomorrow marks 1 year since your first post in the JS forum. What exactly constitutes as "new at JS"? I might be pretty new at JS also [smile]
