I have a windows 2000 workstation that anyone can login to (We are using Zenworks to create user profiles).

However I need to set a password that is unique to the machine, so that the machine can only be unlocked by someone that knows its specific password.

Any ideas??

do the users log in to a domain ?
would a local user account do the job ?

The users don't login to a domain and we don't have AD. We run NDS and the workstation profiles are managed by Zenworks. These profiles allow any of our NDS users to login to the workstation and it creates a profile within 2000 for them.

What this means however, is that any user can come along and unlock the screensaver, simply by giving a valid NDS account name and password.

I need windows 2000 either to have a screensaver that is dedicated to the machine, or only to allow the person who is already logged in to clear the screensaver.

Thanks for your help
