Just took over a Prostar 816, the original vendor(no longer in business)changed the technician password, if anyone knows how to default it, please email it to me, I would apprecriate it. (gene at aidc dot ws)

i had a similar situation once with a prostar and I wound up taking it apart and de-soldering the battery from the main board waited a few minutes soldrd it back and it was defaulted

PITA but it worked

maybe sombody will come along with a backdoor password for you

Easier way is to remove Battery Back-up Jumper on Main CB to do the same.
