According to Sybex Mastering Lotus Notes 4.6 page 623, it reads:

"The properties box seems to be in the way.... Instead of closing and reopening it, minimizing then maximizing, try to drag it on top of the Status Bar. To restore the box, all you need to do is drag it back up."

Well, guess what? I could drag it, but now I can't get the properties box back, nor do I see it in the Status Bar. When I right mouse click for the *Properties, the screen acts as if it's displaying the properties box, but it's not there! How can I get it back? What line do I look for in notes.ini? As you know, I can't do anything without my properties box!!!

Hi,

Open your Notes.INI file (remember to make a backup first).

Search for the line Win32InfoboxPos = ### ###

Altering the numbers '#' should alter the position of the properties box on your screen. The numbers are proportional to your current display properties.

Hope this helps

Cheers

You are AMAZING !!!!! Yes, that was the answer and I thank you so very, very, very, very much!!! Once I knew what to look for, I keyword searched and found a site that recommended to change the numbers to:

Win32InfoboxPos = 200 200 or perhaps 250 350

Again, thank you so very much!
