Prompt to save is in French

Hi, on my laptop with Windows XP SP2, I think it's after the installation of a software, the prompt to save from some applications is in French instead of English. For instance WordPad, when you close without saving, a window pops up with this message inside: Enregistrer les modifications apportées à Document?

You are using a "localized" language CD for the installation.

It is possible to use the Microsift MUI if the base installation is US English:

Install US English XP.
There is no alternative to this.
