Prompt Resolution issue

I have been using two object prompt, one to select other prompts and another to filter their content.
I have been able to use this succesfully in my report . One issue i am having is that the admintrator says that my prompts show up as waiting for user in the 'I server' log and clog up the system eventually.

why is this happening

This may be of some help to you.

There is a Tech note TN6200-751-1018 on a similar issue.
This is for 7.5.1 and above versions.

The "Waiting for autoprompt" status for that job goes away when the "Report Execution Time" has been exceeded. The Report Execution time is a project-level governing setting.
