prompt for password when there is a linked Oracle Database

LS.

When I link a table to a ODBC database on a UNIX-server.
I type in a username and password and choose the option: Rember login and password.
Next time when I open the document Access prompts me again for the password.
Can someone please help me how to avoid this?

I've found this article on the MSDN library:

So this means it's a known problem for Access 2002 in combination with Win2k.
I just wonder if it's a known problem for Access 2000?

I hope anyone can give me an answer.
