I have a porliant 3000 that up until yesterday worked flawlessly. I just shut down to move to a new location an now it will not start. The powersupply comes on and all fans start as well as all the LED's on the board, meaning led's near both processors as well as on the scsi card and the yellow and green ones in the middle of the MB. The CD rom led is now on continuously aswell.

Any suggestions. Still learning.

Thanks

Hi

Moving seems to be the key here. I would suspect that something has come loose.

I would check all the connectors and reseat all the cards...including the memory.

Tried that. checked all connections/peripherals/processors etc. Still the same problem

I highly suggest re-seating the Processor. Typically, if the processor is not firmly seated...then the server won't boot. I've seen this many times.
