I have a Proliant 2500R that is acting strange. If I have everything plugged in I get no power. If I unplug the 10 pin connector from the backplane, I get power but PC will not post. I have swapped Power Supply 4 times and the backplane 4 times but to no avail it does the same. I have removed all the hardware except for the backplane and the power supply it does the same. Very strange. It seems I might have an open circut somewhere, but I am boggled. If anyone has experienced this please let me know a fix.

Thanks

It doesn't have a case power interconnect does it ? ie. when the case is open the machine won't power up (unless of course you fool the interconnect switch into thinking the case is closed......

Naa it does not have one. I would have been the one to have tricked it also into believing it was shut =)
